Crepe Hair

Crepe Hair:

Mehron’s Crepe Hair is used by professionals worldwide to create realistic-looking hair effects for any character. Crepe Hair comes in 12" lengths of wool in 10 realistic shades to create beards, mustaches, sideburns, werewolf hair, and more! Once straightened out, the hair will reach three times its packaged length.

Use Spirit Gum to apply for long-lasting, sweat-proof results.

Available in: Auburn, Blond, White, Light Grey, Medium Grey, Dark Grey, Light Brown, Medium Brown, Dark Brown, and Black.

TIP: Consider blending a couple of different shades for a hyper-realistic look!

HOW TO USE:

Prepare ahead of time for using crepe hair! For best results, straighten braid out by ironing between pieces of wet fabric and allowing to dry for 24 hours. If you need it done quickly, steam pressing the hair one section at a time for time-efficient straightening.

Hold onto one end of the braid and gently pull the braid apart with your fingers. If there is a knot, work it out gently to avoid breaking any of the hairs. Cut the bundle of hair to desired length.

Wash and dry skin completely before application. If you are planning to use stage makeup, apply and set it before starting to apply crepe hair.

Separate hair into small sections, no wider than 1 inch.

Apply Spirit Gum directly to your skin in small portions so you can work in small sections at a time. Do not use Spirit Gum or Liquid Latex in areas close to the eyes. If you need to apply Crepe Hair to those areas, use eyelash glue instead.

For realistic beard, apply in layers. To comb out, use a wide tooth comb or pick. Crepe Hair can be “painted” with Liquid Makeup or Hair White.

HOW TO REMOVE:

Pull off Crepe Hair gently and dissolve Spirit Gum with Mehron AdMed Adhesive Remover. Wash face with makeup remover or soap and water.
